On track with production, new leather bag
over 6 years ago – Mon, Jan 15, 2018 at 11:45:09 PM

Hi guys,

We wanted to keep you in the loop with all that's going on and let you know what we are on track with production.

Here are a few pieces from the tumblers pre- production with and without the stainless steel ring. Note the difference in tone of the oak, we are now working with a slightly lighter tone of oak than with the previous batch just because it is a bit prettier. Also see image of the tumbler on the scale, it's actually a bit heavier than we thought it

Also we wanted to let you know that we have opened a partner company called Nisnas Leather Designs to deal with all our leather bags and accessories. It will be launching a kickstarter of it's own next week and we, as the original gang that started it all wanted to give you a 40% discount off retail for being our backers. Feel free to jump in here to grab it . It's called the Vortex Shadow and is pretty amazing, we're pretty sure you'll love it. See image below.

Please let us know what you think of the bag,  we'll have an update here when we launch it so you can grab it the second its out. and as always we're here for all your questions on tumblers and beyond.

Cheers

Team Nisnas

Surveys are out, production is under way
over 6 years ago – Thu, Dec 14, 2017 at 04:41:42 PM

Hi Everyone,

So guess what, production is under way and we have gone through the process of selecting the wood, preparing the new wax and started the cnc process for the stainless steel ring. Since we started with a pre-production sample we expect things to run pretty smoothly so just so you know we are on target for the February deliveries. We'll have images and video next week showing progression.

  • In the meantime we want you to fill in your surveys so we can get all the data in early. We have partnered with Backetkit on this so they have provided you a unique and easy to use survey system which you should have already gotten in your inbox. With this survey you can order anything else from Nisnas Industries and add it to your order including more tumblers if you wish.
  • We also wanted to thank our amazing friends at Jellop who are our partners in social media. They are much more than just a company that helps with social media presence, they are a loyal partner and are as always attentive, good hearted, honest and most importantly effective. They have a newsletter called First-backer you should sign-up to to get in on projects right as they launch. We love Jellop and know you will too. first-backer.com/?utm_campaign=madison

Much more to come in the next week including images, videos and so much more. Please make sure to fill in your surveys nice and early so we can get all the information we need and set up shipping beforehand.

Thanks guys,

Max, Yossi and the Nisnas Team

Hi everyone,

A huge thank you to you all for being a part of this project. We're so excited to have you as our backer.s To be honest, we never expected the Madison to be such a great success, we just thought it would be the humble little brother of the Honey Oak tumbler but people really loved the idea and so do we :).

So we're off to make it. yay!

So you will get weekly update from us with images and videos of production and some bonous material from us along the way. We'll also have some live session so you guys can ask questions and make comments. We're super into being colaborative as we go.

Alright, thanks guys, you are all amazing, let's get to work :)
