A gift from us, upcoming Kickstarter projects and community impact in 2019.
over 4 years ago – Wed, Oct 30, 2019 at 12:11:04 PM

Hi guys,

Yossi here. in a second you can scroll down and redeem a one-time 40% discount on bags, flasks and tumblers but before that...

I wanted to personally thank you for being a customer, supporter and a part of Nisnas Industries, we are a social business with community in mind as much as craft and product. We consider your support of us a real big deal and we wanted to take the time and show it.

2019 has been a challenging year for us at NI and one that saw us grow as well as work through difficult times, welcome new members on-board and create new and exciting gear with our community in mind.

See here our gift to you, use exclusive code nis40 to activate.

As we come to the holiday season we wanted to celebrate with you and offer you a one-time gift to our shop of 40% off the entire store* (with any minimum 100$ purchase). As a special gift to you and your family, we'd love it if you used code nis40 to grab anything you like from our shop. From leather bags, to flasks, tumblers and pouches, we can offer all of this to you at a special family rate.

This is the least we could do to thank you for being a part of us. We consider all of our customers to be our backers, part of our story, our constant effort to make our small world a better place, our community stronger and our small tribe into a family.

See how we make our community stronger

I wanted to share some of the ways that we are working to make our community stronger in 2019, alongside some of our challenges, our triumphs and how we work with the people around us to make life just a bit better. Here is a small list of these, we try to share in our live session on FB, IG and Youtube, and this is a shorter version of the meandering experience that was our 2019:

1)  We began a partnership with the weaving cooperative in the South Hebron Hills in Palestine in order to grow their scope and help with their community needs. After a year of work we launched the Resolute shoes that have incorporate their tapestries in dress shoes that we designed. The project is now growing and pretty exciting, we hope to see it grow into 2020.

2)  Max and I have been lending our skills to help community efforts to put a spotlight on social inequality in Jerusalem and worked on a campaign with the NGO Ir Amim. We created a video series for them and created a fundraising platform with them to strengthen their work in the city:

3)  On the product end, we created the new W.E.T Decanter with is poised for release in Feb 2020. This decanter puts a focus on experimentation with spirits in a beautifully crafted and unique wood design. Check it out here

4)  We created a new website that now houses everything we do, complete with a blog, a video series and much more, we hope this site serves us to communicate the message and product, let us know your thoughts.

5)  We created partnerships with Uncommongoods in Brooklyn where you can buy our tumblers and Orvis where our flasks and tumblers can be found as well. We are proud of our international partners and urge you to check them out when you search for your next gear purchase

6)  OK, we need to end with this great bit of news: Did you know that Max and his partner just had their first son? Welcome to the team Rafael, it's a joy to see families grow and NI along with it.

OK, that's it from me, I promise to be there for you in continued communication, either in newsletter form, video or personally by email or phone. We are a small dedicated team and are here to assist as always.

Thanks for being a part of the process, have a wonderful holiday season, from our families to yours.

Blessings

New projects for 2019. We need you to be on our development team
about 5 years ago – Thu, Feb 28, 2019 at 06:45:25 AM

Hi guys,

So we're a month and a half into 2019 and we're starting something new at Nisnas Industries,

We are going to be 100% collaborative in our product design work and we need you to be on our team. So we have set-up a FB group (We know Facebook is a bit junky these days but the groups there are perfect for our needs)

In this group we will be sharing all of our directions and products as they are being developed and it is your job to let us know what you think, suggests new directions, give us guidance, etc. We welcome your feedback, we need it to be able to perfect our gear. So hop on in

https://www.facebook.com/groups/2240723249588699/

Ask to be added and I will add you.

Inside you will find lots of great info as we build community, starting with a shop tour :) (on a day I had a stained shirt.. the hazards of having small children...)

OK, I'm excited, so follow us here, we will be able to offer live video chats, exclusive pre-sale of new gear here and live feedback sessions on a weekly basis,

** just a note on the group, this is the perfect place to let us know everything you have to say about product but as always, any issues from previous projects just email me or message me here. We need this group to be for development only.

Thanks guys!!

This is going to be exciting!!

New project ending soon :) And last round to make sure everyone gets their gear.
over 5 years ago – Wed, Nov 14, 2018 at 06:57:36 AM

Hi guys,

I just want to touch base to let everyone know that ALL shipments are out, anyone who still needs us for tracking codes or more troubleshooting do PM us. We are here to help :)

With that, we wanted to share with you that our latest campaign is ending TOMORROW so if you want to grab our Candy Cane travel pillow at the Kickstarter price, go for it before it ends tomorrow. See below:

Feel free to grab a travel pillow before it's gone :)

Also, did you guys know that we have a new tumbler in the works?

We want to have it out on Kickstarter in February or March, it's a tall version of the Madison with a highball type structure. The idea of it is to have a large volume and a long solid base for stability and 100% sealed so there is less need for wax.

Let us know your thoughts, prototype below ( please gloss over my slightly embarrassing, amazing whiteboards scribbles):

Madison tumbler, Oak honey tumbler and Highball tumbler. And did you catch the new coasters?

Alright, as always we are here for you all. We know this project took forever to get to you so we are super eager to get things running much smoother with all future and current projects.

Happy holidays

Yossi, Max and the Nisnas team
